Pahuna-The Little Visitors is a courageous story of three children bonding together and making a new home for themselves after being separated from their parents while fleeing Nepal during an unrest.<\/div>\n

Even before its release, the inspiring film has been making waves at the global level having won several awards and accolades. The movie received a thunderous applause and an overwhelming response at the World Premiere of the film at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) last year followed by a special screening at Indian Kaleidoscope Film Festival in New York.<\/div>\n

Produced by Priyanka Chopra and Dr. Madhu Chopra, Co-produced by\u00a0 Children\u2019s Film Society, India (CFSI), and directed by Paakhi A Tyrewala, the first look of Pahuna-The Little Visitors was unveiled at the Cannes Film Festival in May last year.<\/div>\n

Making India proud internationally, Pahuna \u2013 The Little Visitors has recently bagged two prestigious awards \u2013 ‘Best Film (Jury Choice)’ and \u2018Special Mention By Professional Jury in The International Feature Film Category\u2019 at the SCHLINGEL International Children’s Film Festival in Germany.<\/div>\n

Madhu Chopra says, \u201cThis film is very special because it addresses the far reaching consequences for children when adults make harsh decisions. Also this story is relevant globally in its appeal. A very well made movie.<\/div>\n

Director Paakhi Tyrewala adds, \u201cWe live in a tough world. Sometime it’s easier to just give up. Hope is what we all need. Like one of the characters in the film says, ‘It’s never all dark, there is always light.’ Pahuna is full of hope. That is the reason it resonated with audiences young and old across the globe and now it’s releasing in the country it was made and meant for.\u201d<\/div>\n
